Emily’s topic is to praise a great poet, Tagore. At first, I haven’t heard too much about Tagore. Later in her speech, I’m interested in the subject gradually. Because there is a sentence in her speech, which is “he was also the first Asian won the Nobel Prize of Literature in 1913.” That makes me want to realize Tagore’s contributions more. Emily actually did a great gob to praise Tagore. Emily mentioned that he tried to combine the culture of India with western ideas and helped all the children contributed to culture and literature significantly. And, he also devoted his time by helping society and nations. Those make Tagore should be highly praised. Emily delivers the content of her speech very clearly and not in a hurry so I can get what she wants to describe easily. However, there are some weak points that she can improve. First, during her speech, I think that she should do eye-contact with the audience as possibly as she can. Because that will make the speech a little bit dull. Second, I think that she should memorize the content well, and the speech will be vivid. Because without memorizing the content, it would be a person who recite a long article. That will become a rambling speech. I think she can do it better at the next presentation.

Dear Craig,

Thank you so much for your kindly comment and advise. However, this is a good way to know my weak point by telling from others. I will do my best on my next presentation.

Cheers,
Emily
