Debbie's Speech - Value

I think I’d rather made a strong persuasive speech, though there are still several flaws that I may need to improve or make it even better. First of all, I started my speech with a fact, which I consider quite ear catching, and it actually worked! Because I provided an evidence that could support my stance, and made my speech float naturally. However, I think I should spend some more time on telling my audience how my topic had stirred a controversial issue among the world, to emphasis how important my topic is, and why I wanted to change it. Second, my clarity was great; I believe most of the audience can catch up with my speed. And with my eye contact, the audience can feel how I serious I was about the issue of women’s dignity. I did spoke with my heart, and I really mean it. I think overall I was a speaker that is able to catch attention, no matter voice, content, and gestures, I am quite capable of using inspirational quotes or questions to provoke my audience to get involve and to think. Lastly, I would like to say that this speech course has indeed boosted up my confidence in speaking up and loud. The video was especially brilliant, I was able to watch my performances afterwards, and compare it with the previous speeches. It was really a great idea for students to learn from what they have done. All in all, I am quite satisfied with this speech.
