Kevin had the commemorative speech about Pope John Paul II. He told us that Pope John Paul II was working for peace and made peace like a language spoken by him. He also informed us about Pope John Paul II’s life and achievements such as he had learned 18 languages, made trips to 117 countries, and had been named in Time Magazine as one of the 100 people for both 20th and 21st century. Kevin tried to heighten the admiration for Pope John Paul II to us by telling us about his peace achievement like trust in a prisoner. He also expressed his admiration for Pope John Paul II to us like what he said, “His spirit to struggle and his actions have always encouraged me whenever I face problems.” The speech Kevin made was delivered fluently but not extemporaneous. He delivered the speech with sincerity by telling us a lot about his feeling. However, the overall speech was not meaningful to us because he was focusing on Pope John Paul II’s life and expressing the admiration of himself to us but did not try hard on inspiring us with touchingly sentences.
